Welcome to Interspeech 2009 Brighton!

INTERSPEECH 2009 will be the 10th conference in the annual series of Interspeech events. It will be held in Brighton, U.K., 6-10 September 2009, under the sponsorship of the International Speech Communication Association (ISCA).

Conference News

13 Jun	Early Registration Deadline A reminder that the deadline for early conference registration is July 15th, 2009. Note that accepted papers will only be published in the proceedings if at least one of its authors has officially registered for the conference by this deadline. Also note that as demand for accommodation in Brighton will be high in early September, we strongly advise that you also book your accommodation as soon as possible.
13 Jun	Paper Reviews Completed The paper review process has been completed and the Technical Program Committee has made its decisions on acceptance and rejection of submitted papers. To view the outcome and the reviewers' comments, please go to the Online Paper Submission System and login with your paper ID and email address.
20 Apr	Paper Submissions Closed We have received over 1300 papers for Interspeech2009! Thanks to all who contributed and met the deadline. Our team of reviewers now have a big job to do. Acceptances and rejections will be notified by mid June.
6 Apr	Registration is Open You can now Register for the conference on-line. We strongly encourage you to register early to take full advantage of the currently advantageous currency exchange rates.
23 Mar	Tutorials Day Information about the Tutorials Day on Sunday 6th September 2009 is available.
26 Feb	Paper Submissions The Online Paper Submission System is now accepting submissions.
12 Feb	Call for Papers The Call for Papers has now been published. Also available are Paper Preparation and Submission Guidelines.
12 Feb	Plenary Speakers Details of some of the distinguished speakers in the conference Plenary Speaker Programme has now been published.
2 Feb	Special Sessions The Interspeech 2009 organisation committee is pleased to announce a number of Special Sessions to be run within the conference programme.
1 Feb	Social Programme Details of the conference Social Programme are emerging.
2 Dec	Interspeech 2009 Poster Please advertise Interspeech 2009 at your place of work! Download a full colour poster or send your name and address to Martin Russell to be sent a printed copy.
15 Nov	Call for Tutorials If you are interested in running a tutorial session on the tutorials day at Interspeech 2009, please respond to our call for tutorials.
11 Nov	Call for Competitors and Exhibitors If you are interested in taking part in our speech-based version of the Loebner contest, or are willing to contribute to a public exhibition on speech-related topics, please respond to our call for contributors.
8 Nov	Call for Special Sessions The call for proposals for special sessions at Interspeech 2009 is now available. Deadline for proposals is 1st January 2009.
26 Sept	Interspeech 2009 Launched in Brisbane Prof. Roger Moore launches Interspeech 2009 at the Interspeech 2008 conference in Brisbane, Australia. Prof. Moore announces a number of special events are being planned to make your visit to Brighton a memorable one. Authentic British sea-side rock candy is given to delegates.
